Conclusion

So there you have it! Modern Time management concepts and techniques are a whole universe of insights on their own.

This post was specifically designed to provide enough Food for Thought for you to compare your own experiences and maybe come with different ideas to optimize your routine and improve your performances.

But most of all, the message i wanted to share is to be friendly and delicate with yourself at least as you are with your children or the people you love the most. It is very easy to be carried away from the idea of “achieving” at any cost, expecially in modern times where, thanks to the various TikToks-Instagrams-YouTubes and the like, everybody but you seem to live the life of their dreams and beyond….

Rediscover humanity

Needless to say that the vast majority of the material is fake (or more “politically-correct” said, it is “smartly edited” for a specific cause…). But since many of us are still in the discovering of themselves, and for that reason sometimes it can be difficult to face reality, especially if you think you are way behind your expectations and if time seems to be passing us by very quickly (by the way, welcome in the Club! You are absolutely not alone my friend!…).

So, the best advice I have for you after my years of struggle with time and expectations is to make appointments with yourself, maybe once a quartal, to review your situation, give yourself a pat on the back and recommit.

Or maybe just review your goals and find that some of them have no relevance anymore, so it is time to move on, free that time and prepare for something new and wonderful.

And I say it loudly from the years of coaching an army of Sales Professionals as a profession (…well, let’s say a have a little experience on the subject…) : you can give yourself a chanche to improve only with acceptance and love.

As always, feel free to contribute in the comments. Talk soon :).
